Parenting Prayer Guide

Parenting is one of the greatest callings—and one of the hardest. Every day comes with opportunities to shape your child’s heart, point them to Jesus, and create a home where faith grows. One of the most powerful ways you can do this is through prayer.

This guide is designed to give you simple tools to pray with purpose over your child. It starts with five easy questions you can ask when reading the Bible together. These questions help spark meaningful conversations and connect God’s Word to daily life.

5 questions to ask your child when you read any passage of the Bible together.

  1. What was surprising to you in what we read today?
  2. Is there anything new you learned?
  3. Was there anything you didn’t understand?
  4. Where did you see Jesus in this passage?
  5. Does what we read teach you anything about you? What about our family?
